2025 marks the third year of Expo. Over the years, we’ve learned some key lessons about not stretching ourselves too thin and instead focusing on creating a fun, memorable experience for everyone. But there is one lesson we’ve never needed to learn because it’s so inherent to PD as a whole: Teamwork.

Everything we do at PD cannot be accomplished without teamwork. From design to the shop floor, nothing is completed in a silo. We know as a company that the greatest kind of collaboration means sharing ideas while providing thoughtful, constructive feedback so we can ensure the client receives the best outcome.

That’s where Expo comes in. It functions to bring together different departments into one cohesive exchange of ideas. The teams are created so people can meet one another. As we meet, we learn more about each other, which, in turn, fosters better communication and collaboration across the company. Expo also allows us to step away from our normal work, which can help new ideas take shape.

This year, our theme was Mini-Golf Masters. While this is being written for a print deadline before the actual event, I’m positive that a lot of fun will be had. I can say that confidently because, when it comes to Expo, it’s the people that make the difference.
